Mighty Village was started by Ian Brown from a shed in rural Hampshire. Initially plugging records for radio, the company soon became both a record company and music management company. In later years, Mighty Village expanded its team and ventured  into the world of British Independent film, developing, co-producing and acting as music supervisors for several box office hits. Mighty Village has also dipped its toe into the theatre world, co-producing acclaimed musicals both regionally and in the West End. 

 

The company has been directly responsible for the sales of more than 10 million albums, three million singles, amassed 19 gold and platinum discs, provided music for numerous TV campaigns, cinema box office triumphs, sold-out tours and even a Ivor Novello Nomination. 

 

The shed in Hampshire is still going, albeit with some improvements.
